Apartment hunting in São Paulo (Most liveable city in Brazil?)

Ivana has been trying to move to Brazil since the day I met her. (Okay, this is an exaggeration, but she has been trying since the first time we came: in December 2021.) So, in this video, we tour a 1,000,000 BRL (1 million reais) condo in a gated community, as well as a 4,000,000 BRL (4 million reais) condo in a nearby gated community. We were curious about property value in Brazil, especially Sao Paulo, and the lifestyle of the gated communities. It turns out, the communities have everything you need: including not only amenities (pool, gym, volleyball/basketball courts etc), but also schools, stores and even markets on the weekends. We particularly enjoyed walking through the forest in the community, with well maintained trails and churrasquerias available for rent. (The 4 million rs community even has a bowling alley, a movie theatre, and more). One interesting thing we learned along the way is: when you buy a brand new condo in Brazil, it's common for it to be sold with concrete floors, no light fixtures, no wall coverings, etc. I guess they assume you want to customize and leave it as a blank slate. Was fun to walk through such an epic conctruction site: reminded me of our bus build :).
