You can use this tutorial with different size yarns and needles, but if you want to make the same scarf as us, you will need: 5mm/US 8 needles Aran/worsted weight yarn, approx 70-100m per 50g with a tension of 16-20sts per 10cm. All this information is available on the yarn ball band. You will need 2 colours: colour 1 = approx. 300m of yarn colour 2 = approx. 200m of yarn Some of our favourite Aran weight yarns: Laxtons Sheepsoft Aran, Knitting For Olive Heavy Merino, Kremke Soul Wool Merry Merino 70, Drops Nepal, Drops Big Merino, CaMaRose Snefnug.
