If you are new to working with leather and want to try making your first wallet — this video is exactly for you. Maybe you want to make a handmade gift for your loved ones, or you’re simply looking for a simple bifold wallet pattern. In any case — you’re in the right place. 👉 You can download the free PDF pattern here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GdgL... ⚠️ Important! When printing, make sure to set the print scale to 100%. Otherwise, the size will be incorrect, and your leather pieces won’t match the pattern. ⸻ In this video, I show every step of making this wallet — from printing the pattern to the final polishing. I tried to make everything as clear as possible, using only a few simple tools that almost everyone has. 🪚 What you’ll need: • The printed pattern (A4 paper works perfectly) • A knife or box cutter for cutting leather • A ruler • Glue suitable for leather (any contact adhesive works) • Thread (preferably waxed) and two needles • Hole puncher or an awl • Sandpaper for finishing the edges You can use any leather you already have — it doesn’t have to be special or expensive. I always say: there are no strict rules in creativity. Try different colors, textures, and thicknesses — that’s how you find your own style. ⸻ 🧵 Steps in short: 1. Print the pattern on A4 paper and cut it out roughly, leaving a few millimeters around. 2. Attach the paper to the leather using transparent tape or small pieces of masking tape. Try to place the pieces so that there’s little waste — but don’t worry too much about it. 3. Punch all marked holes using a 5 mm stitch spacing punch, or use an awl carefully by hand. 4. Cut out all the leather pieces neatly along the outlines. 5. Assemble the pockets: first glue and sew the hidden parts, then move to the outer ones. You can use needles as guides to align the holes perfectly before stitching. 6. Sew the inner parts together, then attach them to the outer shell of the wallet. 7. Sand and polish the edges. If you have edge paint or a slicker — great. If not, you can leave them natural for now. ⸻ When you finish, you’ll have a beautiful, functional bifold wallet, made completely by your own hands. Even if this is your very first leather project — don’t worry. The process is calm, meditative, and gives a huge sense of satisfaction when you hold the finished wallet. ⸻ Thank you for watching my video!
