How to mount an anvil - Building a smithy 2/6

Time has come to mount the anvil! I found two brackets made from flat iron that I cold hammer into a workable shape. The metal seemed quite soft and no larger cracks appeared which was nice! I decide to try and work it cold since I didn't want hot metal on an unfixed anvil. Looking around I found three long and sturdy screws, but I needed four so I had to mix in a shorter type, and since I got the feeling that those shorter didn't take as well as the longer ones I used two. The anvil feels secure and it's one with the stump. The stump has a slight rock to it though and it's a total different feeling hammering in the middle of the anvil or on one of the protruding sides.
