Zoom's previous humans were in a devastating car accident which brought Zoom and his blue throat companion, Zip, to us as project birds. Zoom has some balance issues which makes it so that he tends to break tail feathers easily, requiring someone who can offer him the space he needs and the weather to accommodate a large flight for him to get around with lots of space from cage bars.
