Shapawng Yawng Manau Poi 2025 Namgo Village-part 1 Shapawng Yawng Manau Poi is the Ethono-Cultural Festival of the Singpho community.The Shapawng Yawng Manau Poi is celebrated in the month of February i.e. from 12-15 February annually to commemorate the youngest great grand- forefather of the singpho people.The 1st edition of SYMP was celebrated in 1985 at Miao,Changlang,Arunachal Pradesh and the 41st edition of this festival 2025 was celebrated in Namgo Model Village,Teang Hkawng under Chongkham circle,Namsai District.This festival is a beautiful tribute to the ancestors,and profoundly a celebration of the rich cultural heritage and ancestral traditions of the Singpho people.The vibrant rituals,traditional dance,festivities provide a window into the ancient customs and values that have been preserved for generations and reinforcing the deep-rooted cultural identity of the Singpho community.The traditional dance pillars(Manau Shadung)play an important role in this festival. #singpho#Singphotribe#namgovillage#namsaidistrict#arunachalpradesh#shapawngyawngmanaupoi#festival#culture
