So have I. The people over at drumsplitters.com have found a cheap and easy way to do just that. The drum splitter takes the rim and head sounds from the extra module inputs and splits them up. This make you able to connect each of these sounds into two different drum pads or cymbals. But be advised as you will not be able to hit these two pads at the same time since the module thinks they are still connected as one drum. The solution would be to make the new connections two drums or two cymbals that you would never hit at the same time. For me it was a splash and a china cymbal. Also the trigger settings cannot be adjusted separately for the rim and head. So making the two new connections the same type of drum (two toms or two cymbals) will help keep the trigger settings similar. This might only be a problem for hybrid drum set users. I hope you enjoyed the video.
