Every vehicle in war thunder has a battle rating, with the maximum being 14.7 and the lowest being 1.0 - known as reserve when you play a vehicle you can only play up to 1.0 br above, or 1.0 below, for example the M4A3E2 Jumbo is 5.7, this means, you can lowest up to 4.7, this is referred to as a full downtier and 6.7, referred to a full uptier. in ground battles, you can tell if its up/downtier because an a full downtierwill require 150 sp for a medium tank, 160 sp for a heavy tank, and a full uptier will require 100sp for medium and 110sp for heavy tank.
