Snorkeling, beach time, then Wailele Luau! (Maui 2025 Trip Day 2) (FULL VERSION)

Sunday 12/21/2025: we’ve pretty much working on a two-activity per day schedule. One more active, and one a little more relaxing. We rented snorkel gear from The Snorkel Store in Lahaina. Super friendly staff, highly recommend. Also, sign up for their snorkel update/forecast to see daily snorkel conditions around d the island and go snorkel where it’s safe. We swam at a beach along the road and it was not too crowded and water was nice for snorkeling. Will update with name of beach soon, but most beaches are actually pretty nice. Afterwards, we got lunch nearby, went home to clean up and got dressed, ready for the Luau! Wow, what a fun experience that was. We chose the Wailele Luau at the Westin Resort because it had the fire show (for the kids) and it was close to where we stayed. That was the icing on top. Food was amazing as well. We did the premium package and thought it was worth it. After the luau, we walked around the resort for a nice relaxing stroll. The kids had fun exploring the place and it is a gorgeous resort. We still prefer our Air BnB but this was a nice little adventure.
