This was done on Version 2.3. NRI - No Regular Items. ie, no accessing the Items or Quick Pockets commands inside or outside battle. Also, no Auto Phoenix/Med/Potion armor abilities. Use command and Mix ovedrive are allowed. NS - No Summons. You can't summon except when forced to. (Exceptions: Forced Garuda battle in Besaid, forced fights against Isaaru.) NDG - No Dropped Gear (from bosses). NTNGNFB - No Threaten, No Gravity attacks, No "Full Break" Skill. NNE - No [No Encounters] auto-ability. NTQ - No Trio of 9999/Quartet of 9 Mixes. Alongside with those restrictions, I will also do a progression lock where you will not be allowed to do postgame stuffs (Cavern of the Stolen Fayth and beyond) before beating BFA & Yu Yevon. This is to ensure BFA is at its intended difficulties. The Road to Zanarkand Ruins still housed the same fiends from Gagazet Mountain Cave so the same strategy still applies, however Yuna just learnt Curaga now so you could use that to Ahriman to deal 5k damage. There is one new ecnounter set, which is 1x Ahriman and 1x Bashura, and I think the best way to deal with it was to just Sleep Buster the Bashura with Kimahri first and then either Sleep Buster with Wakka or Lulu's Waterga + Curaga. In this session I tried using Provoke to Bashura and hit the Ahriman with Tidus, and that's definitely not the right decision lol, pretty sure I was lucky that Tidus connected there. When you reach the Dome, the enemies are similar from Bevelle so again, similar strategy still applies. The YAT is more tankier now though, so you definitely want to Slow them asap, if you encounter 2 of them then you want to use Slowga instead. Using Bomb Fragment / Fish Scale on them is very recommended because of the fixed damage and it's a rank 2 action. Other than that you want to haste Lulu and use Firaga on it, you could also use Wakka's Darkstrike to reduce the incoming damage. For Defender Z, I just eject it and be done with it, otherwise you could Haste Auron and let him Power Break, blind with Kimahri, and then Armor Break it. With Power Break you will always survive Blast Punch, and when it's Armor Broken, you could use Tidus / Wakka / Auron's Fire+Waterstrike weapon to burst it down.
