Kern River Valley in The Sequoia National Forest. North Fork Kern River Lake Isabella Kernville 2020 We take a drive through the Kern River Valley to Lake Isabella. We stopped to fish but the 20mph winds would've made it hard to enjoy the lake and to cook. So we elected to head into the canyon where the North Fork of the Kern River is. There are many day use sites along the river. We checked out a few before finding an epic site! Made some hotdogs for lunch, lounged and fished. We may have caught something watch to see. Then we packed up and starting heading back through the valley in the direction of home when we found another day use spot that we had to stop at to throw our line in and make dinner.
