Tiptop Sports and Cultural Association was established in 1989 by Tiptop and a group of like-minded friends. Gradually, the association began making significant contributions in the field of sports and became very popular from the very beginning. People across Ladakh loved to participate in the sports activities organized by them. One of their major initiatives is the 1998 Martyrs NDS Cricket Tournament, which has become extremely popular over the years. For the past 25 years, they have wholeheartedly supported the youth of Ladakh by promoting sports and encouraging them to stay away from substance abuse and other harmful activities. In recognition of their great contributions to society and youth development, the Government, through the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, allocated land to them. On this land, they constructed a building which is now being used for the welfare of the people. This facility, known as patients attendant facilities, provides accommodation and essential support for needy patients and their attendants. They offer clean beds, kitchen facilities, hot water, room heaters, and many other necessary amenities. I am truly inspired by their dedication and service. I feel very grateful to have had the opportunity to interview the President of Tiptop, Kaga Tsewang Namgyal.
