This might sound like science fiction, but there are actually volcanoes which erupt gold. This occurs at Mount Saint Helens, Galeras, Mt. Erebus, and Satsuma-Iojima. Each of these volcanoes produces several kilograms of gold each year, almost all as fine gas particles too small to see, providing for a spectacular geologic oddity. Disclaimer: Under no circumstances should a person or company ever attempt to mine gold at any of the 4 gold producing volcanoes covered in this video.
