The fifth debate co-hosted by the MIT Free Speech Alliance brings together a distinguished group of climate scientists and policy advisers for a debate on climate policy, as which the following resolution will be debated: RESOLVED, We Must Close the Gender Gap in STEM The affirmative team consists of Jennifer Roecklein-Canfield, Professor and Chair of Chemistry and Physics at Simmons College and Pamela R. McCauley, Dean of the School of Engineering at Widener University. Comprising the negative team are Christina Hoff Sommers, Senior Fellow Emeritus at the American Enterprise Institute, and Cory Clark Behavioral Scientist at the University of Pennsylvania and Executive Director of the Adversarial Collaboration Project. This spring's debate is moderated by Linda Rabieh, Senior Lecturer in the MIT Concourse learning community. MFSA's debate is co-hosted with the MIT Open Discourse Society, and will be hosted in MIT's Wong Auditorium on Wednesday, April 30, at 7:00 p.m. ET.
