Welcome to 11 hours of campfire in an Arctic fjord, presented by the Campfire Experience and creator Robin Lund. This campfire scene I set in Erikstadfjorden in Northern Norway. I packed my electric motorcycle full of recording gear and firewood. While it might seem as a daylight or twilight scene, it is actually filmed in the dead of night, as mid July in the Arctic is the season of the midnight sun. While I was covered neck to toe to fingertips in heavy duty protective motorcycle gear, I also had to cover my head with a net, as the gnats and the mosquitos were even more aggressive than the sea birds whose sleep I disturbed with my presence.
