In March 2024, we made our way to Madeira to enjoy the beautiful nature, the countless hiking trails and the pleasant climate. Our plan was to cross the island from west to east. However, the weather was too changeable in March. We experienced everything from heavy storms and heavy rain to blazing sun and heat. We therefore abandoned the crossing on the fourth day and instead undertook day hikes by car.
