Pick your own mushrooms (3 per person) and enjoy a simple BBQ meal at the farm. Children’s Forest Wanpanku Land (3.5/5⭐): Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/W2kLM4VrHZRJy... This park is huge, the playground is pretty old but still fun for children. It’s right beside Forest Adventure Odawara so you can consider visiting both locations on the same day. We didn’t do so as the weather wasn’t ideal for Forest Adventure. Hakone Ropeway (4.5/5⭐): Website: https://www.hakonenavi.jp/internation... Experience breathtaking views but bundle up as it can get chilly, especially in colder seasons. Hakone Geo Museum (3/5⭐): Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/CgiwXCBpC4Q5i... A small yet informative museum focused on the area's geology; more suitable for adults. Hakone Crafthouse at Gora Park (4.5/5⭐): Website: https://www.crafthouse.org/en/ Engage in hands-on workshops suitable for children, but plan ahead as some activities require more time or separate collection day. Hakone Venetian Glass Museum (5/5⭐): Website: https://www.hakone-garasunomori.jp/en/ Explore stunning glass art in this beautiful park museum and participate in child-friendly hands-on workshops like glass fusing and sandblasting. Exciting obstacle courses and ziplines for older kids, with a smaller course available for younger children (minimum 0.9m height requirement). This activity can get quite muddy during wetter months, so prepare your outfit accordingly. Spacious, clean accommodation with multiple floors; ideal for families but be prepared for stairs (bedroom 1 and toilet are on first floor, living room, kitchen and bathroom are on second floor, and loft bedroom 2 is on third floor).
