Originally, I planned on making a trip report out of this flight, but of course, things happened. As we prepared for departure, and Gary Kelly had given his speech about making history, the captain came on the PA with some bad news. Apparently a maintenance light had come one, delaying us about 15 minutes. One push back and taxi to runway later, the same light came, on, we taxied back to the stand. We remained at the gate for little over 2 hours, closing the door on two occasions. Eventually, 3 hours after our original departure, the captain came on with the terrible news that the aircraft would need to be taken in for maintenance, leaving many disappointed, including me. This video shows the experience onboard the flight, and shows push back/taxi to runway/ and taxi to stand. Sorry for the disappointment I may have given you.
