Azure Logic Apps Plans - Standard and Consumption - Azure Daily Minute Podcast - 24-APR-2023 #AzureLogicAppsPlans #CognitiveServicesCustomCommandsFeature #AzureDailyMinute Azure Logic Apps Plans - Standard and Consumption, and Cognitive Services Custom Commands to be retired on April 30, 2026. Hello, this is John Lewis, and welcome to your Azure Daily Minute for Monday, April 24th, 2023. Azure Logic App is an integration service that runs automated workflows which integrate with your application, data, services, and systems. These workflows can be written with little or no code. During the creation of logic apps, Azure presents two logic apps plans. These choices are standard, and consumption based. Standard pricing is based on a hosting plan in a single tenant infrastructure. It is best suited for the Enterprise environments, and services multiple workflows. The standard logic apps plan also includes virtual network and private endpoint support, virtual network integration, and network isolation. The consumption-based plan uses the pay only for usage model in a multi-tenant shared infrastructure. It is best suited for limited use and can service one workflow. Azure Cognitive Services is restructuring it's Speech Services feature. This change will accommodate new innovations such as enabling voice assistant and leveraging the next generation of dialog orchestration models. Due to this restructuring, custom commands with supporting dialog and language understanding resources will be retired on April 30th, 2026. Existing Language Understanding resources associated with a custom command application will be supported till 2026, however, support for creating new custom command applications will be disabled on October 30th, 2023. That wraps up the Azure Daily Minute for Monday, April 24th, 2023. Until next time, take care and go build great things!
