All the songs of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 sorted by tempo from slowest to fastest. Escnation.com Musical tempo is normally measured in BPM (beats per minute). One beat is normally defined as the lenght of a quarter note. A faster tempo means there's more beats per minute, resulting in a higher number. The tempos we've listed in this video were determined with the help of a professional music production program handled by a music producer. Complete list: Latvia 59* Portugal 60 Georgia 61 Spain 61.5 * Iceland 65 Armenia 75 Germany 75 Greece 75 Montenegro 79 Denmark 82 ** Switzerland 84 Austria 85 The Netherlands 87 Belgium 88 Bulgaria 88 Lithuania 90 Russia 91 Ireland 94 Albania 95 * Estonia 97 France 97 Croatia 98 * Cyprus 101 Romania 101 Norway 104 Czechia 106 Sweden 109 Australia 114 Belarus 116 United Kingdom 116 Azerbaijan 120 Macedonia 120 Finland 122 Malta 122 Moldova 122 Poland 122 Serbia 125 San Marino 126 Israel 130 Slovenia 140 Ukraine 140 Hungary 164 Italy 180 6/8 time signature ** 3/4 time signature (Remaining songs all in 4/4 time signature) NB: The majority of the songs are in a 4/4 time signature. But in the case of a 6/8 time signature, there are several different ways to mark the tempo. To best show the perceived tempo of the song, we chose the standard way of still counting the quarter notes as beats. But it is also possible to e.g. see each 8th as the beat, which would result in a doubled bpm. In that case we would get Latvia (118), Spain (123), Albania (190) and Croatia (196). And alternatively, in the case of very fast songs in a 4/4 time signature, it would also be possible to mark the tempo as half the given bpm, which would for example give a tempo of 90 bpm for Italy.
