Peaks MTB - Laddow Rocks, Wild Bank & Dovestones, Tasty Tech Group Ride

We did the quintessential Laddow Rocks technical descent in the western peaks which is about as gnarly as it gets (affectionately named on Strava 'tech as hell') with some exposure in a few places and quickly makes you realise why your head is saying 'don't look left' when you are riding a rocky ledge so your steering really needs to be on point with little margin for error. This is a pain to get to and very boggy for most of the year so choose your visit carefully. Laddow is difficult to blend into a loop due to its start and end points but this loop including Wild Bank with other trails in between and finishing at Dovestones all of which were generally loose, steep and sketchy. A big day out that worked very well indeed put together and led by Iain from Tasty Tech 🤙. The trail conditions were perfect when we did it but the traverse to Laddow was still let's say 'moist' but generally rideable. Many thrills and a few spills during the day as is typical with a fairly sizeable group riding or attempting to ride what was on offer. Everybody was in good spirits at the end and nobody needed any medical treatment which is always a bonus 😂
