Welcome back - today I will take you through the history of the second reincarnation of the MGM Grand. On the 18th of December 1993 - the second reincarnation of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino opened at 3799 on the South Las Vegas Boulevard. Back in the 90s Vegas wanted to attract families into their resorts. Arguably MGM Grand spearheaded this drive and produced a World Class casino with a family friendly feel.
