Plotagon Film Festival Call for Plots! | Plotagon Challenges | Plotagon

The Plotagon Film Festival is a celebration and showcase of new films created with Plotagon’s animation technology. It is open to content creators across the globe. Selected Plots will be showcased during the entirely online Festival via Plotagon’s YouTube with a Premiere setting and live chat during the scheduled viewing. Plot submissions are now closed. Requirements to submit your Plot for consideration: 1. Plot must be new, never-before-seen by the general public to be considered. Your submission link must be to a secure, online version of your project via an external site (such as: your own website, Vimeo, unlisted Youtube, etc.) 2. Completed Plot must be available to review from when you fill out and submit the form until the submission timeline concludes at 11:59 AM CEST on Monday, July 24th, 2023. Plotagon cannot answer questions about the status of your submissions nor the selection process or progress during the consideration timeline. 3. Plot must be submitted along with a fully-filled-out form. Plots submitted without the rest of the required information will not be considered. 4. Plot must fit within the below-mentioned categories: Educational - a Plotagon video that teaches a lesson or skill or generally provides educational value. Episodic - a Plotagon video that is an episode within a larger series or universe. Feature Length - a Plotagon video longer than 10 minutes. Music video - a Plotagon video that follows the chosen song and tells a narrative. Can be an original song or attributed to a real-life musical artist or band. If you don’t have the rights to the music and YouTube mutes the video, we cannot select it, so be sure to choose an audio that allows fan films. Newscast - a Plotagon video featuring a news segment. Can be real or fictitious news. PSA - a Plotagon video that serves as a Public Service Announcement. Can be for a realistic or imagined problem. Short film (2 minutes or less) - a Plotagon video lasting no more than 2 minutes in length. Stand up comedy - a Plotagon video featuring a comedian telling jokes. Can be original or attributed to a real-life comedian. If you don’t have the rights to the audio and YouTube mutes the video, we cannot select it, so be sure to choose an audio that allows fan films. Trailer - a Plotagon video that is a teaser ad for a longer-form content. Can be a trailer for an upcoming project of yours, a brand-new trailer for content that already exists, or a trailer for imaginary content. Other - a Plotagon video that doesn’t fit within the above categories. Decisions regarding the Plots selected to showcase in the Plotagon Film Festival will be reached by or before Wednesday, July 26th and notifications of selection will go out by or before Thursday, July 27th. If you don’t receive a notification by Saturday, July 29th, your Plot wasn’t selected and you are free to post it on your own social channels.
