2024 CPHS Band Idol Champion Performance | Judah Kashiemer

Originally recorded on February 22, 2024. Where I go to school, we hold an annual competition (that happens to also be part of our grade I suppose...) with our 9th grade band class in which they are supposed to play in front of their peers, as a way to foster more confidence in solo playing and strength in being a strong musician on their own without the support of a full ensemble. The competition itself (colloquially known as Band Idol) is a three-stage competition in which the 15-ish highest ranked individuals in a criteria move onto the preliminary round, then the final, etc. I had happened to make finals, but to my hilarious unknowing I was also deemed champion. So here's a goofy performance of the Cantina theme I got to perform during our February concert I suppose, enjoy :)!
