Full Service! It was absolutely needed. As you can see from its initial condition, my Gibson Les Paul Classic had seen better days. Alas, more great times are ahead :) The video includes a full restoration / deep service of this guitar. I use the term restoration as I am bringing this back to life! You can watch this to see my process, and also as a step-by-step guide if you are interested in servicing your own guitar, doesn't have to be a Les Paul! Some important tips are make sure you tape up the pickups when using wire wool. Those metal fibres go everywhere and you don't want them in the magnets. Also, use naptha (lighter fluid) sparingly on the body... as you will see, I might have overdone it... I hope you enjoy! I am very happy to have my Gibson back with me!
