Friday 3 May 2013 the legendary 1979 Ferrari 312 T4 which belonged to Gilles Villeneuve was driven by Renè Arnoux. The car travelled at Modena streets, crossing the centre, continuing in front of the Military Academy to end the trip at Enzo Ferrari Birthplace Museum. The unmissable exhibition was organized to inaugurate the exhibition dedicated to the historic Formula One cars. See the 312 T4 again in an unusual context such as the historic city centre is priceless. How much emotion! The pilot Renè Arnoux, as every enthusiast remember, played one of the most incredible F1 duels at the wheel of the Renault RS10 on the Dijon track in 1979, fighting against Villeneuve and his Ferrari. They were competing for second and third place on the podium. So now you can understand the historical value of this performance. The organization of the event was wonderful; I witnessed the car preparation, engine start-up and pilot adjustment. Last but not least, I attended the interviews with Renè surrounded by public and fans. An epic day I will never forget! Enjoy! 😉 Venerdì 3 Maggio la mitica Ferrari 312 T4 del 1979 che fu di Gilles Villeneuve è stata guidata da Renè Arnoux. La vettura ha percorso i viali di Modena, attraversando il centro, proseguendo davanti all'Accademia Militare per terminare il tragitto al Museo Casa Natale Enzo Ferrari. L'imperdibile esibizione è stata organizzata per inaugurare la mostra dedicata alle vetture storiche di Formula Uno. Vedere nuovamente la 312 T4 in funzione in un contesto insolito come il centro storico della città non ha prezzo. Quanta emozione! Il pilota Renè Arnoux, come ogni appassionato ricorda, disputò uno dei duelli più incredibili della F1 al volante della Renault RS10 sulla pista di Digione nell'anno 1979 lottando proprio contro Villeneuve e la sua Ferrari. Si stavano contendendo il secondo e terzo posto del podio. Potete ben capire il valore storico di questa esibizione che ha visto l'amico e rivale Arnoux pilotare la vettura rivale di allora. L'organizzazione dell'evento è stata meravigliosa, ho assistito alla preparazione della monoposto, all'accensione e regolazione dell'abitacolo per il pilota francese. Non ultimo ho assistito alle interviste di Renè attorniato dall'affetto di pubblico ed appassionati. Una giornata epica che non scorderò mai!
