Gotham Season 1 Finale Episode 22 - "All Happy Families Are Alike" Review Alright what's going on guys it's Trev back again here to bring you another video. In this one I will be doing my final review for Gotham the TV Series Season 1. After seeing the Season 1 Finale I really don't care that I am not feeling well I still need to do this review. The Gotham Season 1 Finale was absolutely amazing. Spoiler warning! Plot Synopsis: "The mob war between Falcone and Maroni escalates with mobsters on both sides being arrested. Barbara, following Ogre's death, undergoes trauma counseling with Leslie. When Falcone is hospitalized during an ambush, Oswald Cobblepot and Butch arrive to kill him with a plan to take his place only to be stopped by James. With Bullock's help, Gordon gets Falcone, Cobblepot, and Butch away from Maroni's men and to a safe house where Fish Mooney's new gang, with Selina Kyle, abduct them. Mooney makes a deal with Maroni for the prisoners, but Maroni acts disrespectful and sexist towards her, causing her to shoot him in the head. Maroni's men and Mooney's gang start fighting while Gordon, Bullock, Falcone, and Cobblepot break free, but Selina and some of Mooney's gang recapture them. Cobblepot arrives and provides cover fire as he plans to take on Mooney. While Gordon and Bullock escape with Falcone, Cobblepot pursues Mooney which leads to a rooftop fight as Gilzean arrives. Gilzean starts having mental pains, causing him to shoot them both. Cobblepot knocks out Gilzean and throws Fish off the rooftop into the water below, declaring his victory. During this time, Barbara tries to kill Leslie, forcing her to neutralize her in self defense just as Gordon, Bullock, and Falcone arrive. Kristen Kringle confronts Edward Nygma about Tom's death which Nygma claims to have no knowledge of. Falcone gives Gordon a knife that his father left him as he leaves for the South to go into retirement, parting on good terms. Bruce Wayne finds a device in one of the books that reveals a secret room behind the fireplace." Wikipedia I am going to give this week's episode a perfect 10 out of 10. For a tv series this one literally went over and above my expectations for a first season finale. Usually for most shows it takes a while to build up steam and bring us anything even close to this epic. The writers for Gotham pulled out all the stops and brought us probably the best first season of a tv series I have ever seen. 22 episodes without hardly any filler or fluff. Just an amazing story all the way through and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. Gotham is Amazing! I cannot wait for season 2. Awesome series!
