Chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, Professor Deborah Prentice, the panel of speakers provided their perspectives on societal change and analysed how our lives and those of our parents and grandparents have evolved, as well as how generations can alter the trajectory of the present to collaboratively build a promising future together. The speakers were: • Professor Dame Diane Coyle, Bennett Professor of Public Policy, University of Cambridge • Prashant Sen (2021) Pembroke alumna and Master's student at the University of Oxford • Professor Loraine Gelsthorpe, Emeritus Fellow and former Professor of Criminology, University of Cambridge • Professor Dame Henrietta Moore, Founder and Director of the Institute for Global Prosperity, UCL The 19th William Pitt Seminar is organised by the Pembroke Corporate Partnership Programme. The focus of the Programme's activities this year, its 25th anniversary, has been on intergenerational conflict.
