Meet S.M.A.R.T, an embedded system that quietly watches for fire, rising temperature, and unsafe voltage—before things get serious. Welcome to Candade LabWorks This channel brings hands-on electronics and IoT projects to life — from circuit fundamentals to embedded systems and beyond. 🔧 About This Project S.M.A.R.T (Substation Monitoring and Alert Response Terminal) is a compact embedded monitoring system inspired by real electrical substations. It continuously monitors voltage, temperature, and flame presence, displays system status on an OLED, triggers audible and visual alerts, and isolates the circuit using a relay when unsafe conditions are detected. Once a fault occurs, the system enters a latched danger mode and remains there until manually reset — closely mimicking real industrial protection logic. 🧰 Components Used Arduino Uno / Nano DHT11 Temperature Sensor Flame Sensor (Digital) SSD1306 OLED Display (128x64, I2C) Relay Module Red, Yellow & Green LEDs Passive Buzzer Push Button (Manual Reset) Potentiometer (Voltage Simulation) Breadboard and Jumper Wires 🎮 Features Real-time voltage, temperature, and flame monitoring Latched danger state with manual reset Relay-based circuit isolation Fault-specific LED and buzzer alerts Clean and centered OLED alert interface Button debounce and safety logic Continuous system status display ⚙️ Pin Connections Voltage Input → A0 DHT11 → D2 Flame Sensor → D3 Relay → D6 Reset Button → D7 Red LED → D9 Yellow LED → D10 Green LED → D11 Buzzer → D12 OLED (I2C) → SDA, SCL 💻 Code Access Full code for this and future projects available here: https://github.com/ineshcandade 📌 What You'll Learn Designing safety-critical embedded systems Implementing latched fault logic Relay control for protection systems Multi-sensor data integration OLED-based system status visualization Button debouncing and state handling Translating real-world substation concepts into embedded projects 🧠 What’s Next Store last fault data using EEPROM ESP32 upgrade with Wi-Fi monitoring Remote alerts via cloud or SMS Add current sensing for complete power profiling Live graphs on OLED or web dashboard 🔗 Connect with Me 🐙 GitHub: https://github.com/ineshcandade 🔗 LinkedIn: / inesh-candade 🌐 Portfolio: https://ineshcandade.github.io/ 📧 Email: candadelabworks@gmail.com #Arduino #EmbeddedSystems #SubstationMonitoring #SafetySystems #RelayControl #OLED #DHT11 #FlameSensor #CandadeLabWorks
