Nuevas Músicas para Vibráfono y Electrónica was commissioned with support from the Creation Grant (2019) from the National Fund for the Arts (Argentina). The project consists of four Argentine works for vibraphone and electronics, composed by Facundo Negri, Evelyn Frosini, Esteban Insinger, and Pauline Roberts. The scarcity of repertoire in this genre, both in Argentina and internationally, motivated Pauline Roberts (vibraphone and vocals) to undertake this project, aiming to enrich the production of scores for solo vibraphone in the field of contemporary percussion. Having performed this repertoire internationally—in Argentina, Panama, Australia, Canada and the U.S.—Pauline has now released it as her debut solo album, available on all digital platforms as of February 25, 2025. To further emphasize the album’s Argentine identity, Pauline commissioned artist Elena César to create the cover artwork, ensuring a cohesive national aesthetic for the project. El proyecto consta de cuatro obras argentinas para vibráfono y electrónica, compuestas por Facundo Negri, Evelyn Frosini, Esteban Insinger y Pauline Roberts. La escasez de repertorio en este género, tanto en Argentina como a nivel internacional, motivó a Pauline Roberts (vibráfono y voz) a emprender este proyecto con el objetivo de enriquecer la producción de partituras para vibráfono solista en el ámbito de la percusión contemporánea. Tras haber interpretado este repertorio en escenarios internacionales —en Argentina, Panamá, Australia, Canadá y Estados Unidos— Pauline lo ha lanzado como su álbum debut solista, disponible en todas las plataformas digitales a partir del 25 de febrero de 2025.
