Keith's Bouncing Castle

Another pre-COVID project that I kept circling back to, this is a musical shout-out to Keith, one of my best friends and my main go-to when it comes to electronic music. While I had knowledge of and produced some hardcore electronic music (gabber, happy hardcore, J-core, etc.), I didn't it give a lot of my heart until we started swapping ideas for DJing and producing. Our friendship (and music!) has blossomed since, and I eventually decided to make a tribute with three decades of happy hardcore influence -- the pioneers of the 90s, the 2000s hardcore that influenced us, and the 2010s sounds that we cut our teeth on. The initial breakdown was what I produced first. While I did have trouble fleshing out the drop to the end of the song, the toughest part was figuring out the intro and build-up...until I decided I didn't need one. 😛 Maybe if this track gets enough love, I'll flesh out an extended mix. Keith publishes his music under the alias "Elevon." Feel free to check out his stuff at @elevonofficial (not all of his music is SFW). The spectrum effects and particles were made using FL Studio's ZGameEditor Visualizer. Everything else was drawn and animated by me.
