Leaving your current job is harder than you might expect..😕 | Sharing my story and tips as a GameDev

Making the decision to quit your current job and start job searching is easy. But executing the job searching while you work full-time is much harder than you might expect.. That's why I want to share my story and tips in this video. I recently switched companies after working at the same company for five years. I felt I wasn't learning enough anymore and really wanted a new challenge. But at the same time I was also very attached to my previous job so I kept delaying my job search. This eventually lead me to take a big risk and decided to send my resignation before landing a new job to give myself some room to focus on applying to other positions. If you are also struggling with executing your job search, know you are not alone with this. So, consider talking to some of your close colleagues or people who recently left to share your reasoning and gather tips from them. This is really valuable to get you through this rough time. 🙌 There are of course many other topics that relate to this. For example: how do you prepare test assignments for job interviews and what are the essentials to look at when getting in a job interview as a game developer?
