94 Nissan Sentra SE-R SR20VE (B13) Autocross | Street Racing Made Safe - AMR Motorplex | May 22 2022

I took the 1994 Nissan Sentra SE-R (Natural Aspirated) to AMR Motorplex, Homestead, FL for my third Street Racing Made Safe autocross event (fourth overall). I have seen my time get better with each event with the first autocross at 57.596s, the second at 56.623s and the third at 55.177s. Even though getting my best overall times and hanging out with friends are all important, the highlight of this autocross was the joy, excitement and passion of Peter who told me a little bit about his Sentra journey. The first car he purchased in 1994 was a 1993 Nissan Sentra in Jamaica which is called the Nissan Sunny GTS (RHD - Right Hand Drive) JDM version. Him seeing my Sentra brought back a lot of memories and with his statement “Not in my wildest dreams my 93 Sentra would move the way this one is moving”, it continues to reinsure me why I’m building and racing this rare car. I can’t go to an event without drawing a little crowd with people asking me what kind of car I have or mentioning that they didn’t know a Sentra can move like that. This Sentra may not be the fastest car at these events (work in progress) but for a FWD 2.0 all motor it moves. This car is unique and I love surprising people every time. Don’t sleep on it.
