GROWLS ~ PRECIOUS MOMENTS! 💕 Mom Eagle Tucking In & Brooding The Hawklet & Her Eaglet! 🐥 🐤 6.12.22

What a precious moment to see the little hawklet and Junior lying next to one another sharing some beak kisses as they start to settle in for the night. Mom comes home and heads over to the left branch briefly before taking off - the kids then settle back in. Mom returns a few minutes later, picks at the nest and then takes off again. She returns ten minutes later to spend the night with her new unusual family! Junior heads over to Mom and shortly thereafter, the little hawklet will make its way over to its surrogate eagle Mom to get tucked in. Incredible actions taken by this eagle pair to brood, feed and care for a hawklet that was originally brought in to be prey. Thank you for watching!
