WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS; ****YOU WILL NEED A SOURCE OF OLD FILES PREVIOUS TO THE UPDATE TO WORK**** I copied the files from a computer which steam had not updated NTW yet STEP 1 On your main NTW folder you need to cut away [keep it as backup at desktop for example just in case] file called D3dx9d_40.dll STEP 2 Copy from your source of old files and replace the following also on the main NTW folder; installscript.vdf Napoleon.exe steam_api.dll STEP 3 Copy and Paste from your source of old files the following missing files inside data folder patch.pack patch_media.pack patch_media2.pack patch2.pack patch3.pack patch4.pack patch5.pack patch6.pack patch7.pack THE ABOVE WORKED FOR ME FOR THE GREAT WAR MOD Just use the launcher as usual after the above and mod should run I still have to try with other mods like Pike&Shot but it should work, please share in the comments to help other players too! NAPOLEONIC TOTAL WAR 3 [I tried V9.2 singleplayer] Click the launcher and when it prompts select what you want to play; 1805 campaign, Peninsular Campaign etc Game will try but it won't launch Go back to Steam and press PLAY NTW3 should launch and then you can select same option you chose with your launcher If you find other solutions or the above worked for you for other versions and/or other mods please share in the comments, the info will help other players to run their mods too!
