Enjoy a Michelin Bib Gourmand Italian dinner and a top-class hot spring bath in the room at Lakes...

This time, I will introduce the hot spring hotel where I stayed when I went to see the "Hito Festival" held every year at Lake Shikotsu in Hokkaido. Its name is "Lakeside Villa Suimeikaku", a hideaway hotel for adults with only 8 rooms. For dinner, we had an Italian dinner that won a Michelin Bib Gourmand award. Although the hot spring does not have a large public bath, all rooms are equipped with hot spring baths. There are also 2 private open-air baths. The hot spring is wonderful, and I think it is one of the top 5 hot springs that we have visited on our channel. For breakfast, a chef from our sister hotel, Marukoma Onsen, came and prepared the finest Japanese food. We were able to walk around the Ice Festival and enjoy it, and it was a great weekend.
