Beauties! I waited so long to make this majestic bag! I had been plotting and planning this design since October of 2017. It took over a month to receive the items for this project. Ever since I came across the Fall 2016 Fairy-tale themed Dolce & Gabbana collection I have not been the same. These bags slapped me silly, they’re everything that I love; embellished, whimsical and elaborately designed art pieces. I wanted to challenge my creative abilities by attempting my hand at recreating the bag with my own spin. I took a floral themed box bag and converted it into a Cinderella inspired purse. This does not look like a $35 purse. I spent $ 140.00 in total for all the items including the bag, this bag looks like it’s worth 1000s. The Dolce Gabbana bags will run you from $4,000-$15,000-- for a bag collector, price is no object. You decide what fits your budget. TIP: Always take the measurements of the bag into account when buying charms for your project. You want to make sure that all items will fit. I took the bag to the supply store to measure against the stones before purchase. Be careful handling your embellished bag, these are showpieces and are to be handled with care. Also, if you’re embellishing the back of your bag, make sure you don’t use charms that will snag on your clothes especially if you will be wearing it as a cross-body.
