First up, we have the Heuer Bundeswehr 1550SG, a truly historic model that served the pilots of the German Air Force. It's one of the most legible chronographs out there, and features a flyback mechanism to aid in the ability to more accurately time successive events. For straps, our Crosby strap is a sure bet for something restrained and classic, while our Jurassic is a way to add class, with a bit of fun, to the mix. Next, we have the Cartier Tank "Jumbo," a larger version of one of the most iconic watches of the 20th century. Its golden ratio proportions, mixed with the truly breathtaking, simple dial are just a couple of things that contributed to the piece's legendary status, and in the "Jumbo" size, makes it wearable on an even wider range of wrists. The Tank is most at home on a lizard or croc strap, but is even more in its element with a beautiful blazer (like the one made by Denis Frison) and a pair of slim, made-to-measure trousers like these from Spier and McKay. From the trenches of war to the stars themselves, we move into the Omega Constellation. A sublime linen dial is the focal point of this vintage dressy watch, housed in a steel cushion case to give it a slightly more casual appearance. A day and date window is positioned at the 3 o'clock position, and there's a fluted bezel outboard of the beautifully domed acrylic crystal. For straps, perhaps the best pairing of all is with our Quint strap. The mid-tone blues play well with the watch's silvery color palette, and the slightly off-white stitching clicks perfectly with the vintage lume. Last, but by no means least, we have a Mark I Rolex Submariner ref. 1680, a four line Submariner with big lume plots painted directly on the dial with no white-gold surrounds, all on its original Oyster bracelet. It's the first Sub to feature a date function at 3 o'clock, and is by far one of the most sought after references in the entire Rolex catalog. With this one, the only strap in our lineup that makes any sense has got to be the Rover, with its nods to Rolex's signature green bringing the entire brand aesthetic together without being too overt.
