Oxycodone with acetaminophen is used to treat moderate to severe pain. You can safely take it every 4 to 6 hours as needed for your pain. Do not exceed 4 g of acetaminophen in a day. Some common side effects of oxycodone with acetaminophen are dizziness and nausea. Some less common side effects are headache, drowsiness, fatigue, insomnia, compulsive skin picking, itching, blisters, hot flashes, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, and respiratory depression.
