The Chaihe Forestry Railway was located in the town of Chaihe on the Mudan River near the city of Mudanjiang. The railway used the standard steam locomotives for narrow gauge 762mm lines throughout China. The video shot on a rainy day in June 1993 features passenger and logging trains and some on train and on locomotive action. The line featured a long bridge across the Mudan River used exclusively for the local trains.
