A quick run through the products and method that I used to finish the bottom of the boat below the waterline. I sprayed all of the paints with a 1.4mm gravity feed gun. 1st. 200g plain weave glass cloth applied with West System epoxy resin 2nd. West System 407 low density fairing compound - hand sanded with 40 and 80g paper on a longboard sander 3rd. 2 coats primer - Jotun Penguard HB https://www.smlmarinepaints.co.uk/pri... - DA sanded with 320g 4th. 2 coats topcoat - Jotun Hardtop AX https://www.smlmarinepaints.co.uk/top... - DA sanded with 500g You can find me at all the places below for more info.
