Homemade Fireball in each half pint jar 1/3 cup simple syrup (to make simple syrup mix equal parts hot water and sugar, stir until dissolved) 2 full size or 5 half size cinnamon sticks 1/2 - 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes if you want a spicy heat. We did 2 and it oacks some heat. top with whiskey or other favorite 80 proof alcohol. Sit on a shelf for 2-3 weeks to infuse. To speed it along/same day use Fill crock pot with hot water. Add jars and ensure they are covered with water. Turn on high and let it sit in the hot water (don't allow it to boil) for 4-5 hours. If it starts to get to a boil lower your heat to low. We love to splash this over apple juice but it can also be served on the rocks. Enjoy!
