Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi Project Updates as on 10 5 2016. 216 ft tall metallic statue of Bhagavad Ramanujacharya is coming up in Samshabad, Hyderabad in 2017 to commemorate the 1000th birth anniversary of the great Vaishnava Saint. Ramanujacharya Swamy propagated and promoted the concept of equality which was unheard of 1000 years ago. He gave the secretly guarded manthra to all the interested seekers and took them into the temple saying that all are the children of God. He promoted the Bhakthi cult and regularized the systems in the temples. This Statue of Equality is a small token of gratitude to such great social reformer.
