(Click on CC for subtitles in Hindi) (भजन के बोल देखने के लिए CC पर क्लिक करें) 'Meera met his beloved Girdhar!' What evokes such couplets mumbling the meetings with the lord himself? Is it Meera giving herself to joy while whisking delicacies for his beloved or a heart sunken in love on the luring lute of Mohan or a state unutterable with mere words? Meera knows! Yet such sublime couplets scent the air when a satsang dawns, cymbals arise to tinkle, the monochromic keys sit in and the songs of old-rebellious love rise in her name. Midnight climbs to the head, eyes hint a hue of slumber; but suddenly an unformed voice puts his heart on the mic, strikes the string of his tambur and turns the falling eyes to dancing feets, abrupt. Prakash Kahttu, the youngest of the singers in our RKY's kin is a wonder to his age. With his voracious absorption of the oral traditions, listen to him as he sets his young rigor unto a pitch night at Phalasiya at the Rajasthan Kabir Yatra'22. ----------------------------------------------------------- Connect with us - Subscribe & Click the notification bell: / rajasthankabiryatra Website: https://www.rajasthankabiryatra.org Donate to us: http://www.rajasthankabiryatra.org/do... Shoots it with brawn! First, it hit the quills Then it pierced the body First, it hit the quills Then it pierced the body When it struck the devotee Prahalad, it pierced through! The sadhus have stopped their wanderings, The vines don't climb anymore The noblemen have ceased to chant, such a wonder of nature! Yashoda churns the yougurt, whips without rest Kanha relishes the butter, rest settles on the buttermilk How do my chords with Mohan break once mingled? My love for the black beloved My dear for Mohan Castles and roofs stand before the lean mansion How do I sight your grace, Oh beloved? A wall falls afront Heading a clay pot, I went to the rivers My eyes met krishna, the dear prince! My heart turns timid! Grazes cows on the pastures of Vrindavan, plays the flute The mellow notes of flute shook my sweet slumber Mohan arrives as the guest, I stir the porridge well! Meera found his Girdhar at the stroke of midnight --------------------------------------------------------------- Rajasthan Kabir Yatra is a 7 days-long annual traveling folk music festival spread across six rural and urban locations in and around Rajasthan.
