KULT News paid a revisit to Marion, OH, on Oct. 24, 2023, just 74 days after our original audit in Marion on Aug. 11, 2023. Last time we were in town we spent all of our time in the Marion County Building where we had some BMV employees freaking out without ever even stepping foot in their office. They called 911 and a couple of Sheriff’s deputies show up but, until now, we weren’t privy to the conversation the BMV employees had with law enforcement. We’ve added the police bodycam footage to that encounter for some never-before-seen footage that will have you shaking your head in disgust. This time in town we shoot video and take some photos of a prominent bank in downtown Marion and within minutes we had three Marion police officers respond. FUN FACT: When you lie and tell the police the man on the sidewalk said he was there to “rob the bank” you get a faster response. Who knew?! 😳 Will the Marion Police Department do well or will they shoot first and ask questions later? Did the Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies represent Marion County well back in August? Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.)
