Dr. Pandolfi presents gingival recessions and peri-implant soft tissue augmentation, focussing on hard and soft tissue grafting. The patient refused to have the bone volume increased by means of a block graft or GBR technique in a two-step approach. Therefore, a less invasive protocol with a single surgical step and a minimally invasive flap design, GBR with cerabone® and simultaneous soft tissue thickening using mucoderm® was offered to the patient. The two year follow-up clearly shows stable hard and soft tissue profiles using cerabone® and mucoderm®. Dr. Pandolfi maintains a private practice in Aprilia, Italy focusing on Periodontology and Implantology / Oral surgery. He helds a Degree in Dentistry from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and conducts trainings in Implantology and Periodontology in the Course of Dental Hygiene.
