FREIBURG BEERS & BREWERIES: A beer visit to Germany's Black Forest......including a WINE FESTIVAL!!

A visit to Freiburg in Germany's Black Forest to visit 2 breweries and sample their beers.......followed by a visit deeper into the Black Forest to an annual wine festival! #freiburg #beer #brewery The Beer Necessities series makes a trip to Freiburg im Breisgau in the Black Forest (Schwartzwald), Germany, to visit two local breweries; Hausbrauerei Feierling where Inselhopf lager is made, plus Martinsbräu where Pils and Weizenbiers are offered....including Colaweizen and Bananenweizen! We then move on to a small, picturesque town called Staufen im Breisgau where the annual Markgräfler Wine Festival is held. We'll show you around Freiburg, with its beautiful gothic architecture, Martinstor (Martin's Gate Tower), Schwadentor Gate Tower and the famous Freiburg Bächle mini canals running through the city streets. First we stop at Hausbrauerei Feierling to sample their Inselhopf kellerbier whilst the wort of a fresh batch of Inselhopf beer boils away in the background, followed by a trip to Martinsbräu to taste their Pils and.....Bananenweizen! We then head further south in the Black Forest to enjoy the wonderful annual Markgräfler Wine Festival in Staufen im Breisgau, which is a bit of a well kept secret!
