Stage 4 dives deep into Switzerland’s wild alpine heart, starting in the rugged Val Trupchun of the Swiss National Park — raw, remote, and full of wildlife. The route flows through the peaceful Val Susauna before tackling the epic Scaletta Pass at 2,606 m, a brutal climb with breathtaking mountain views. But just before reaching the top, a thunderstorm rolled in and the race was forced to pause. All 300 riders huddled together inside a barn for almost an hour, waiting for the storm to pass. The weather kept changing — rain, sun, thunder, and everything in between. Unfortunately, I didn’t capture the start of the descent from Scaletta Pass — an insane rock garden where we just flew down. Absolutely epic! From there, the trail dropped fast and technical toward Dürrboden, followed by flowing singletrack through forests and meadows all the way back to Davos. A stage defined by raw nature, unpredictable weather, and pure alpine energy — powerful wilderness in motion.
