Overhauling a Ford Focus TCM - Part 2: Inspecting, Testing the Capacitor and Soldering

Part 2 to my last video. I tested the capacitor and installed a new one plus soldered the electrical pin connections with silvering adhesive ordered from Walmart. The Dorman rebuild ordered from JEGS has been pretty reliable, so in the end, I never did install this TCM to see if it worked. I'm not quite willing to mess with my primary daily driver and risk having it break down on me. Instead, I'll send it back for the core charge. I did see another video which showed how to squeeze and twist the electrical pin connectors to release the top printed circuit board. If I was to do this again, that's what I'd try. Hopefully though, there is no 'again' and this is the end of my TCM misadventures.
