In Hong Kong, pro-Beijing lawmakers have accused some artworks of "insulting the dignity of the country. Chinese state media have criticized documentaries for "spreading hatred of the country." Radio Free Asia interviewed two Hong Kong creators from different generations known for a willingness to express what are now sensitive and dangerous political messages in their art.
